Refund policy
Here’s a clean, conversion-friendly return policy you can drop into Shopify Settings > Policies > Return policy. This one’s optimized for supplements/pet products but works for most DTC stores.
Return Policy
30-Day Happiness Guarantee
We want you and your pet to love your purchase. If you’re not 100% satisfied, we’ll make it right.
1. Returns: Timeframe + Conditions
You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return.
To be eligible:
- Unopened items: Return for a full refund. Must be in original packaging
- Opened supplements: We accept returns if your pet didn’t tolerate it. We’ll refund you minus a 15% restocking fee to cover safety testing. Contact us first
- Used/damaged items: Can’t accept returns if damaged due to misuse. Reach out and we’ll troubleshoot
2. How to Start a Return
Email us at support@yourstore.com with:
- Order number
- Reason for return
- Photos if item arrived damaged
We’ll reply within 1 business day with a prepaid return label if eligible. Don’t send items back without approval.
3. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method within 3-5 business days. Shipping costs are non-refundable. You’ll get an email confirmation.
4. Exchanges
Need a different size or product? We’ll swap it for free. Just tell us what you need when you request the return. If the new item costs more, we’ll send an invoice for the difference.
5. Non-Returnable Items
- Gift cards
- Final sale items marked at checkout
- Products without original packaging and no safety concern
6. Damaged or Wrong Items
Got the wrong product or it arrived damaged? We’ll fix it fast. Email us photos within 7 days of delivery and we’ll ship a replacement free + cover return shipping. No need to return the damaged item.
7. International Orders
We currently only provide prepaid labels for US returns. International customers: contact us first and we’ll work out the best option.
